Possibly. They seemed to be saying that it was too long and too full of exposition.
I'll go see it too, as I enjoyed the book and the trailers looked ok. However, I think that it may be the case that the film has to crack along at a fair pace, whilst also getting across to the audience all the various theories and ideas without being too confusing. It's sometimes hard to strike the balance between doing both. |
