Hello and welcome to Issue 6 of This Week on the Forum - the sixth issue of this almighty publication.
Each week, we'll put up an issue of "This Week on the Forum" - your opportunity to publish, for the world to see, your spin on events on-forum in the last week. This week it's Downsy's turn, and next week... well, it could be anybody.
If you'd like to have a go, drop NickLee a line.
This intro obligatory, but the rest is Chris' own words:

Hello, good evening and welcome to my week on the board.
It's been a difficult week for relationships this week and this has been reflected in numorous posts around the board. I'm sure everyone's sending out best wishes and good vibes. Also, a good number of members are taking their first steps into a bigger world of university life, so there are plenty of threads about alcohol and relationships around.

In the news was the arrival of Katy Carmichael onto Coronation Street, changing roles from fashion to flowers.
Have you heard the DVD commentary? Like it? Dont like it? Not bothered? Make your views known  here
What is your dream profession? Astronaut? Kung Fu Master? Well, head over here and tell the world (well, just the Forum really).

Heading over to The Gents, you'll find things have been quite quiet, the cosmic conundrums of what beer you drink and length are still continuing.
Moving from The Gents into the much more fragrant atmosphere of The Powder Room, we find an advice thread on seduction techniques for wooing the man of your dreams.

Discussions are abound in the Media area; Flameboy asks the question, "Who are your Media Idols?" So whether you've based your whole entire life around the teachings of Seth Armstrong from Emmerdale or have taken Simon Pegg to be your spiritual leader, then spill the beans - we want to know!

Now who said "Music is as old as time itself"? Find the next best thing in Playing while I etc etc, a thread which is nearly as old.

Delightful music, champagne, canapés, dinner jackets and beautiful dresses can all be found at the Forum Ball so put on your top hat, tie up the white tie and make a grand entrance.
Those who enjoy a dabble into wizardry and witchcraft may wish to magically appear here where they can be spellbound by the wonders in store. Head over to Chainstory and let flow with your literary urges.

Serious topics need a serious place, and none better than the aptly named Serious forum. Still running is advice from the man who knows, Philt, who can try to answer any question you have about your next electrical appliance.
For those whose kitchen skills stop at the toaster, the Semi Naked Chef has ridden in on his scooter to help, offering recipes, advice and taking questions.

Last but not least, take a dive into the world of Silly, this week, we've asked questions that shouldn't be answered and listed the five great things.

So, another great week on the board, keep up the good work

Take care now
