When will you start? I need a new book to read - might as well play along if these are recommended. Not if it's Crime and Punishment, though, I've already read that.

Oh, good point, I should vote, eh? Well I enjoyed Cloud Atlas, so David Mitchell's a likely candidate for my vote. Although Slaughterhouse Five does sound more than a little interesting. Not sure about Clockwork Orange, reckon I'll leave it a few more years til the memory of the movie's faded some more so I can appreciate it for itself more easily.

I might go Slaughterhouse Five as it's not the sort of thing I'd usually pick up, so it might do me some good.

I went for Slaughterhouse Five as well. As much as I like Clockwork Orange, I think it'll be more worthwhile to read a book I haven't read before.
