Some of the people in my office got to go see the 20 minutes of finished footage that's being shown around the press. I didn't.
 One guy says... "I was expecting the military hardware and explosions to be up to scratch (this is a Michael Bay film, after all), and the CG Transformers were predictably cool (and these are characters, not special effects), but the real surprise was that the dialogue and performances, especially from Shia LeBoeuf, were really quite good. People laughed, and in a good way. John Tuturro as a government type was great fun. And this is definitely not just for kids. Lots of robot on human violence, and lingering shots of Megan Fox’s talents. I’d say it’ll be a 12A (like Spider-Man)." |
