I did what I've done a lot recently and listened to a few tracks on spotify, to see whether I liked it and I did (I never listen to whole albums before I buy, I like to keep some of it for when I buy it. Yeah I'm odd). Whole album is great. Loved Return To Cookie Mountain and thought Dear Science was pretty good, so I expected to enjoy it anyway. |

Kate Bush's new album Director's Cut.
It really is a completely new album with the songs revamped and altered (sometimes beyond easy recognition). It's like she's doing alternate covers of her own stuff with some quirky, very good things in there. (Pretty sure that was the Megablast riff from Bomb the Bass/Assault on Precinct 13 at the end of her 'And So Is Love') It's a great album with lots of relistening (eh?) appeal. -m0r |
