It crossed the Worldy Wibbly Amazon and reached our shores with efficiency and swiftnesss. We didn't risk looking for it in Australia in case we couldn't it so we just got it off Amazon quick sharpish.
(Quick off topic question for you, did SBS just start showing Mighty Boosh with the 4th episode of the 2nd series or have I just magicaly missed a series and a half of it?) |

I think maybe they have just started from 2:4
Because I was insistent that it doesn't even get screened in Australia until I saw an ad for it on SBS the other night. And I'm sure I'd never seen it before that. They seem to screen Top Gear in random order too. |

QUOTE (Rebus @ Mar 23 2007, 01:42 PM) I just got the HF soundtrack from my lovely and thoughful wife. I can't stop listening to it. Your wife is lovely, and thoughtful too. My friend is just as lovely and thoughtful for exactly the same reason, but I'm not about to marry her.I dig the soundtrack a shitload, not just because it contains snippets of the script (what made you want to be a policeman officer?), and not just because it reminds of great bits in the movie (goody two shoes), but because it's so much fun to listen to anyway! I like the Shaun soundtrack too, but it's more eerie and creepy; but that simply comes down to the nature of the two movies. (PS: SBS have brought back Mythbusters (woot!) but relegated Top Gear to Saturday night (dag, yo). Who stays home on Saturday night!) This post has been edited by Heff: Mar 26 2007, 04:23 AM |

So, we have to wait 18 months for Simon Pegg to be on (or just watch the flippin terrible quality one on youtube) |

I watched it on You Tube. The one I saw was quite reasonable quality.
I skipped over the cut scenes from Hot Fuzz though because that was before I'd seen it and didn't want to spoil anything. I love surprises! And can I just say.......LOVING the soundtrack. I'm listening to it right now. Again. |

My bf and I had a brilliant "dimoxinil" moment regarding the HF Soundtrack tonight.
We were in the supermarket doing the grocery shopping when he said/sung "Fire" Then I looked at him and grinned and said "You've been listening to it too! Haven't you?" |

I walked into my local supermarket last night, just in time to hear the beginning of "Romeo & Juliet" by Dire Straits! I grinned to myself.
Feel the love. dolfyn. |
