Right let's get this sorted out into sections.

Firstly, people will arrive, and you'll take their coats...So:

"The Magnificent Seven" should start off nicely

Then you've got the party warm up whilst your guests are still breaking the Ice with each other...So:

"Prefab Sprout - King of Rock and Roll" does nicely, maybe with some dip in there too.

Then we need some kicking riffs to liven the place up...So:

"Huey Lewis and the News -The Power of Love" - Good stuff, that's right, we're rocking now!

Time to get everyone up to dance...Letsee:

"'Timewarp - either Richard O'Brian or Damian version" yeah, it's topped itself here now, well done.

Now for some smooching, perhaps after you've awoken from a drunken slumber...

"Spandau Ballet + True" what a way to wind down eh?

That's it Zozo, job done. Now let's get the decorations up!

Loser - Beck
American Woman - The Guess Who
Number 1 - Goldfrapp
Atomic - Blondie
Rhythm Bandits - Junior Senior (or anything from the D-D-Don't Stop the Beat album)
Velvet Snow - Kings of Leon
Plastic Man - The Kinks
Soldier Girl - The Polyphonic Spree
Pressure On You - Duels
History Repeating - Propellerheads
Rock the House - Gorillaz
Get A Move On - Mr. Scruff
Help Me (Feat Kelis) - Timo Maas
The Ballad of Tom Jones - Space and Cerys from Catatonia
Brimful of Asha (Norman Cook Remix) - Cornershop
Out of the Races and Onto the Tracks - The Rapture
Life During Wartime - Talking Heads
Huddle Formation - The Go! Team
Cars - Gary Numan

and then a load of Japanese stuff you probably don't have.

Damn I wanna have a party now!

We should be ashamed of ourselves for forgetting. You do it for Molly girl.

You do know of course that if you are to go the whole way, and enter John Hughes party mode, the playlist must include songs by artists that a record label want to push on a soundtrack album, but usually will be skipped when said album is bought.

Oh, and don't forget, at the end of the night there must be a geek trapped under a glass table and a "little miss popular" being shamefully drunk ...that's you and Adam sorted then biggrin.gif
