A mate saw the HF ad on tv and I haven't. Whataprick.

I wonder what time the Q+A will be over? And how fast the lads will be back to their hotel for booze, coke, hookers and jaffa cakes like the hot-shit movie stars they are? Kidding. Tuesday night is my trivia night, and I'm definitely going to ask if they want to come down for a drink. But I don't own a camera... can someone bring one?

My bf offered for me to bring his proper camera with me (It's a Digital SLR whizz-bang thing) but I don't think I'd be able to use it properly. Plus I'd be paranoid that I'll drop it, lose it, scratch it (a pigeon could shit on it - it could get breathed on wrong)
So I'm just going to bring my old fashioned bog-standard point-and-shoot film camera.

Yeah the pity drink sounds good. Maybe we can even get them to come for a drink without any pity

Oh yes. Sooooooooo excited, I nearly peed my pants! I'll certainly try to ask a question for you, Goya, if possible.

Booked my tickets, for me & my dawgs (my nephew & his friend, who I've forewarned about my possible dorky behaviour on the night!). I'm now going to encourage some of the people at my work, who are also fans, to get onto it straight away. I'm not going to see any of the other preview screenings beforehand, as I want to experience the full excitement of the night; seeing it for the first time with a bunch of fans & then meeting the "trinity" afterwards.

I could very well overdose on elation!

EDIT: I'm not sure of the meeting time yet, as I'm going to try to scam leaving work a bit earlier than usual. I'll get back to you on that one.

My friend bought tickets. Right after I saw the ad on Channel 10! As previously mentioned, Tuesday is when I go to trivia, and last night they kept the tv on for an unknown reason (it's usually off). The ad came on, and I turned in my seat and stared. Then I finished my pint and nearly choked. And then I saw the ad again 4 times. And couldn't stop smiling like a buffoon. And proceeded to get very drunk. Now I'm hungover, at work, and flippin out from excitement.

And yeah, I think I'll keep my Fuzzy virginity (you heard me) for the Q+A. Although pre-watching would give time to come up with a question that's better than "Hi guys.... hee hee.... AAAAGH.... you guys are awesome.... er.... huge fan... pants... um.... what's your middle names?"

I'm having doubts about saving myself for the Q+A. And I just watched the Fuzz casts on the hotfuzz.com, and Simon and Nick's middle names are John and John respectively. Now I need another question. Cock.

Actually it turns out my bf is coming now anyway as his course has finished.
I've told him that I'm planning to behave like a crazy fangirl and he's prepared to live with it. hehehe. Anyway, he was the one who got me onto Spaced in the first place, so he's only got himself to blame.

On the upside, he said while I'm behaving like a star-struck nut he will keep himself busy with his camera. So this means we should get lots of good photos!

Ok fuck it. Did it. The combination of a crap day at work and knowing I'm getting paid tomorrow encouraged me to damn the consequences. I'm taking Tuesday and Wednesday off, which resulted in me having a bit of a row with my (new and useless) boss, so at least if I get fired it'll be for a decent reason. My wife did pretty much the same so we're coming to Melbourne! Woot!

Don't worry, we're lovely people, young outgoing and friendly and not at all stabby...just ask our psychiatrists.

Iwonder if Melbourne park benches are comfortable places to sleep...
