I caught the trailer too, but the cgi looked so bad. I really hope the only reason for this was because they haven't fully finished it yet and they just used what they had for the trailer.

But apart from that I'll still watch it, I enjoyed the first series and it can't be as bad as Robin Hood.

Never saw the original, and was not impressed with what I saw in the trailer... The CGI god-awful!

I'm sure I'll end up watching it again!

I'd forgotten all about the big eyed puppy boy.

It wasn't bad tonight, although I was making tea while it was on.

You must of been watching a different program?

Bad and predictable story, bad CGI, bad acting, and bad continuity. Where did the big black gun go after they got out the lift?

I missed Man U scoring two more goals against Newcastle to turn over and watch this. sad.gif

Interesting. Perhaps it should be a half hour show?

I didn't think the CGI was that bad, to be honest, and though the acting was hit-and miss, I've seen far worse on Primetime TV.

Yes, you can read more about that here: 'Primeval' star complains about sexy scenes.

Yeah, it was pretty much tosh last night, as Baz said the continuity was terrible (stuff the gun, where did the second raptor go?!).

It's a bit of a shame, because I think Cutter is quite an interesting character, especially given the "history has changed" plot they've now worked into the series - hopefully they will do more with this over the series and not just go down the "monster of the week" route.

I find it all enjoyable Tosh. Don't take it too seriously and I especially like the Bwen Miller charector, completly over the top.

Primeval - Complete Series One - Only £6.95, if you really want a copy!

Is anyone else still watching?

I thought this week's episode was slightly better than the last two - mainly because they didn't spend the entire episode being chased around. I'm interested to see where the "double agent" plot line is going, and I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that they may press the reset button at the end of this series and have Cutter correct the problem they created at the end of series one.

It's all still bobbins though!

it is, although i seem to keep popping over to shack's and finding him watching it. still, i think we're both happy to watch hannah mooching around and i'm pretty sure that shack'll be as upset as i am, to discover that we didn't watch it when she used to mooch around in her pants...

unless shack used to watch it and kept quiet about it...

I am. It's cack, but quite enjoyable cack. The CGI at the end of the last episode was particularly bad.
