Mine arrived yesterday. Spent the evening eating chinese and watching all the featurettes. Fan-bloody-tastic, boys. You've outdone yourselves with all the extras!

Aha. Sneaky HMV. Amazon aren't THAT fast.

Just checked the order - after VAT removal, etc., I'm paying the exact same price for Life On Mars as I am for Hot Fuzz. *applause*

It's a stonker of a DVD. I love all the little featurettes (the return of the flip chart!), the Making Of and the outtakes. Dead Right is disconcertingly good for a teenager's spare time project and disconcertingly disconcerting, because it features Edward Scotland in the lead role who grew up in my village and who I vaguely remember as a sort of golden haired boy-god in local Am Dram circles.

And, I know I said it on HF's release but I think it's worth repeating - Simon "buffed to feck" Pegg? Giggedy giggedy.

And the Pegg/Frost commentary is a masterpiece of snark.

It looks like Edgar if he had some sort of wasting disease...

Man, I got it yesterday, and I'm not even halfway through it. This thing is so full of fuzzy goodness. I still find myself going back to the outtakes. I keep repeating Simon's little "dance" during their Eve Draper bit. He is beyond adorable. And their "love montage" at the end is a riot. I can't get enough of this set. Kudos to the HF gang. A+++

I'm so glad I got that DVD on a Saturday. It was raining out so I just snuggled up with a duvet and kittens and watched through everything. I just haven't watched Sandford Village commentary and the Real Fuzz commentary, and Edgar's commentary on Dead Right.

I couldn't stop cracking up at Simon & Nick's commentary on that though "pube in the gate".... oh my goddddd laugh.gif

Aw Harmz that sucks. Yours must surely arrive today though?!?

It really is a brilliant DVD. The extras rock. I've watched them all (some several times now)

Have only managed to watch the movie through once though with the Villagers commentary. Looking forward to hearing the other commentaries soon too.
