Well, I'm glad I didn't betray my principles and spring for the Wal-Mart disc, then.

I suppose I could have been more patient, though.

However, it's important to shore up the opening-week figures, so at least someone is seeing some benefit from my earlier purchase.

I can't stand the guy.

His directorial skills are fine, but, personally, I find him to be intensely grating. Especially when he tries to act.

Anyway I have a bit of new information regarding the 3-disc release.
Straight from a certain Mr Joe Cornish to myself...

Excellent scoop, thanks for sharing it with us! Hour-plus Rally with commentary? I'm in heaven.

So hey guys, this came out today...

It's a slipcover that opens into a Police Handbook

Open it up, and you're treated with some quotes and photo from the film

Very good packaging, the insides are the same as the usual DVDs. Currently watching the third disc.

Sorry for blurry quality, I did it in a rush.

Me too.
And in spite of quoting me 11-16 days for delivery when I ordered it - they cheekily advised me after shipping it that it wont arrive until 26 December! sad.gif

To my sorrow I couldn't pick up a copy on release day as I'm currently short of cash (starving student), but I'm vicariously excited nonetheless!

Ah well, in the meantime I'll go watch my Region 2 import again.

If they didn't release the 3 disk in the UK it'd be all wrong.

Region 1 gets all the good DVD releases, it irritates the hell out of me.
