Glad to hear you loved Hot Fuzz!! Oh and great news for/from US - HF did so well on opening weekend that they are already expanding it to more screens! Yay!! QUOTE Focus' Rogue label did well with its strategy of opening "Hot Fuzz" at just 825 theaters. Brit buddy cop parody grossed $5.8 million, averaging a healthy $7,062 per play. Studio plans to expand it to over 1,000 locations on Friday.

Our Thiryhelens is a great reporter and a wonderful theatre companion! The event at the Arclight was so much fun.
The theatre was packed and the laughs were loud. During the Q&A, it was really fun to watch the entourage that accompanied Simon, Nick & Edgar (which included Jack Black, Paddy & Tarantino). They were all standing along the side of the theatre having a great time. Simon, Nick & Edgar told us that the 8pm Q&A was the last event they had to do for publicity. They looked releaved and giddy. They didn't want any normal questions. I thought the funniest answer to a question asked was a comparison or 'who's the best' Keanu's 'Point Break' performance or Nick Frost's? All Nick & Edgar talked about was imagining Keanu & Nick rolling around, wrestling. They instructed us to take the image with us, and think about it. Driving home, I felt like I was a real Hollywood event. It was a lot of fun. Thanks, Nic, for including me. |

Sounds like it was such an amazing night!! I'm loving hearing about all these events. But - my selfish desires aside - I am very glad for the lads that their publicity comittments are over.  Earlier in the Q&A, a woman had asked Nick and Simon about when they used to live together, which lead to the usual answer re: sleeping on the floor ----> top to tail ----> spooning. though this one was very entertaining. Later, after the questions started to run dry, Paddy C. piped up and asked them if when they used to sleep together, Nick had ever given Simon a tit wank. The three of them positively howled, and Simon nearly tumbled forward out of his chair.
