QUOTE (AusChick @ Jan 25 2008, 06:53 AM) Looks more like "Fuck Off!" than "Suit Up!" to me And how can there even BE a 7 across when there are no other letter spaces next to the 7 square? Maybe the clue is "Uck Off!" and the answer is "F" But maybe "mug" is the incorrect answer that Joyce had put down which Angel corrects when he advises her that it's "hag" I think she points to the "system of government characterised by extreme dictatorship" as the clue, and then just calls him "fascist", being 7 across (HF 777). He then corrects her thinking the answer is wrong, no matter where it goes. Also, maybe "12 down" refers to the number of names down on the fountain? |

I like how during different times in the action sequences in the last 1/2 hour of the film, Nicholas says to Danny "Let's rock!" & also says "Let's roll!", & then his last line in the movie is "Little hand says it's time to rock & roll."
It's cute. Feel the love. dolfyn. |

I like how in the middle of the car chase between Skinner and Dad Butterman, Nicholas and Danny pick up the missing Swan. Then, when Daddy is trying to get away, he is gleeful, thinking he has done it but then he looks in the mirror and sees the swan, which then attacks, causing Daddy to be captured.
I thought it was clever, as it reminds us of the earlier scene's of them chasing the swan but it also didn't leave the audience wondering - whatever happen to that swan. Nice closing of that arc. Hee hee. |

I love the Leon reference. I also love that I'm the only one I know that got it.
I'm special! |

QUOTE (MyDogAteLA @ Jul 15 2007, 01:08 PM) I hate watching Brit movies with Americans. This is a classic example of the many times I've laughed at a joke only to have my friends/family go "WTF are you laughing at?" Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong country.... ...and then I remember Brits can't have guns! |
