I can see why they nominated Eve Myles as she practically carried Miracle Day.

She didn't win? Boo! She was brilliant in Miracle Day.

Next year's should be much better. Black Mirror, Holy Flying Circus, both TIE '88 and TIE '90 (if it's on before winter), and more stuff will eligible.

I'll wager very few of that will be up for nods in twelve months, it will be wall-to-wall Sherlock* again and the other usual suspects.

*Not that Sherlock doesn't deserve gongs, though.

It is good, but Old Ferris seems very wrong.

(Probably because it makes me feel old).

Good to see Ferris alive and well.

I suppose this means Stevie Wonder is still blind.

Yep but now I'm kinda disappointed there's not a second film.
I also really want to watch Ferris Bueller now. Guess I know what I'm doing if I'm still not well tomorrow.

Trailer for ITV's Titanic mini-series which will air this spring.

Looks like they've thrown a bit of money at it . . .

So I'm standing in my kitchen this morning, making my egg sandwiches, and BBC Breakfast has a report on a new game show called Clever Dicks, where very clever people answer very hard questions.

Who has the BBC lined up to host this program?

Who is the last person on Earth you want to hear utter the word "Dick" in any context?

Yep, the host is Ann Widdecombe.

Bad enough that in her intro she announces that she is trying to find who is a Clever Dick, but whenever someone answers a question correctly she states "Clever Dick" instead of saying correct.

I can see this only running the one series . . .

I got an email from an audience ticket company advertising that a few months ago. The thought made me die a little inside.

I'm sure this will end up on a show called "What the Hell Were They Thinking?" one day.
