biggrin.gif Hello, me again!
Just thought I'd search James's name, NO RESPONSES to match his glory.
(well, no real ones)
I, personally, FELL HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE with the first one.
Back 2 Bedlam totally rocked! (Under rated in my opinion.......)
The new ones here VERY soon, so I wondered if I could find someone who thought he was AWSOME and GORGEOUS, and everything else lovley.

wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif
Please respond, I like to think people listen to me on the web at least......

AMYXXX

PS (Anyone heard "1973", new single. So very different from the B2B stuff *sob sob*, he's changing and leaving me behind!!!)

Yes, as can be seen in this statement:

Apparently when James Blunt was told that some radio stations were banning his songs because people hated his music so much he said "Yeah well I don't give a shit about what they think of my music because it gets me laid"

Niiiiice.

I love that he's rhyming slang.
So appropriate.

Well, it's worked so far. cool.gif
James Blunt : "Cutting edge of cool?"
OK, not so much, but more rock & roll than people asume.
At least before, his 2004/2005 interviews are alot more gritty.
I hope that part of him isn't COMPLETELY dead, but it sure as hell doesn't show anymore. Most of his quotes are of "getting laid", so thats just another one on the list of "not-so-sober" things he's said. I'd like to just laugh and dismiss it, but if I have to be honest, following him around the world is number 1 on my long list of "Things I Would Do If I Had Money". So, in cleaner and more respectable terms, I'm just saying: "I would..."

I'd maybe listen to lots more music before you head off on that world tour there Missy.

I do like to change the worlds to 'Beautiful' to 'Dutiful' when I see a well behaved dog though.

Well musical taste is a very personal thing.
I don't think anyone can really say that another person has good or bad taste.

Lord knows most people would not agree with a lot of my musical tastes.

But from a completely personal perspective - I have to say that James Blunt is probably my number one most hated artist. Sorry Amy sad.gif It's just my taste.

I'm not a fan of ballads at the best of times but for some reason his ballads particularly grate on my nerves.
Like fingernails on a blackboard.

I'd rather people be "rock'n'roll" through their music and dull in real life than the other way round.

Trust me, there's a lot better talent in the music industry, both in terms of looks and actual talent.

excl.gif URGENT (OK, not-even-a-little-bit-urgent) NOTE

You would be surprised...... compared to the rest of my musical taste, and style in general, he's a total bolt from the blue. I labelled that note as urgent, just because it's true. Belive what you want, but there isn't a single genre of music or artist I can dismiss entierly. Best to see the good in people rolleyes.gif

Plus, I don't atall blame you for finding his ballads intensely irratating, the good songs are on the album. Overplaying the "crappy" ones on the radio isn't the best way to sell an album. The reason my fisrt post was so enthusiastic, is that I kind fizzled out after waiting 3 years for a new album, so it was a "shock to the system", so to speak, that it was finally here. That, and the fact I feel obliged to promote his stuff seen as his web site sent £100's worth of James Blunt merchandise for nothing (Long story that not even MYSELF is intested in anymore)
I also agree that of COURSE there's better talent out there. No offense to James, but the world would be FUCKED if there wasn't!
But you can't stop your damn feelings. If you could everyone would be in a lot less trouble. It's just a fact.

Thanks for the views, they made me laugh!

not suprised...the James Blunt '2-in-1' first aid kit/sewing box was clearly a marketing error.
