I have half a mind to write a letter to Edgar begging him to have some kind of spaced thing out here ... I mean, Nic's would go, right Nic? I'm here! There are loads of us. We can't afford to go there, but surely Edgar can afford to come here! It's SUNNY IN DECEMBER!!!

If only it were entirely up to Edgar.

Despite a passionate cult following here, it's probably not quite plentiful enough and the show hasn't had enough exposure in the States to warrant the interest that would be required by some place like the MTR to host any kind of Spaced-related event over here. Never say never and all, but it's unlikely. It's been great when the guys have come to talk about Shaun and Fuzz, and whatever future projects may be I'm sure there will be more of those... but where Spaced is concerned, I really don't think we're out of the pipe dream phase yet.

This is the best thing I’ve heard is such a long time! I can't wait!

If anybody’s really suck for some place to stay I have a flat in Richmond and have room for about 4 people to stay if you bring sleeping bags and the next day I could take you to see where The Fantasy Bizarre was. I'm such fun!

I just wanted to underline that poking Edgar would be pointless since a large part of the decision about any kind of US event would lie with the venue.

Does make me wonder . . what it would take to put together a SPACED event here in the states . . logistically I mean.

A screening or otherwise . . I mean getting the talent over might be more of a hurdle . .

I'd imagine that'd be the biggest stumbling block, yes. As noted before the Hot Fuzz live commentary event, most of the - er, ensemble? entouage? posse? - live in the London area.

I'm sticking with the notion that finding a venue who'd do it would be tough, too. The MTR have certainly given short-run shows with cult followings plenty of love over the years - Strangers With Candy, Freaks & Geeks, Arrested Development and others have received Paley Festival Q&A's - but these are all American shows.

What do you mean, "we" stateside fans? Some of us are just far enough away from the major metropolitan areas that we can't feasibly attend what small events do occur over here!

Granted, Vermont got the Simpsons premiere, but that's hardly the same thing, and it was so far to the east that it may as well have been in New Hampshire.
