I'm SO freaking glad I gave the series another chance. After the first episode, I was determined that this new series would be shit and didn't even bother. That last episode was a goddamned masterpiece.

QUOTE (Everlong @ Jun 10 2008, 04:24 PM) There's a picture of the new Davros doing the rounds, and i've seen it. Not 100% sure if its genuine. Link from OG.. http://planetgallifrey.blogspot.com/2007/0...-nostalgia.html If that is genuine, they are keeping the look MUCH more traditional than I thouht they would. |

Moffat is the man. When you think about the 'plot' of the fat-babies supernanny episode, it's hard to think they are the same show. As my friend said at the end of that one: "pile of fucking pish". |

I suppose that's the problem you'll always have with an anthology series, which is essentially what Doctor Who in its current form is; if you haven't got someone in charge who can write well and has a strong guiding hand, or at least people who can come up with the ideas, you can't deliver the goods on a weekly basis. I'm very hopeful that Moffat was be to Doctor Who what Rod Serling was to the Twilight Zone; someone who can write his own stuff but also seek out talent.

So why is that episode title such a big spoiler then?! (That is the one that was TBC on all the listings earlier this year, isn't it?).
