Restrepo was a great film and he seemed like a compassionate person more than willing to put his life in danger to tell people about the world. Very sad.

Very sad to hear that Chris Hondros has died of his injuries as well. His last photographs were some of his most affecting work.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13176198 In his prime (i.e. the 80's) 'Only Fools & Horses', 'Dear John' & 'Just Good Friends' were all fantastic sitcoms. Even though some of his work had got more than little tired recently ('Green Green Grass', anyone?), he could still turn in a decent script, as 'Rock & Chips' proved. RIP. |
