Andrew Breen

He won't be a familiar name to any of you, but Dr. Breen was a teacher of mine, and a hugely important space scientist who did lots of work in his lifetime in a field that's becoming increasingly important. If you read any of the things about the recent solar storms, you have him to thank for being one of the pioneers in research into that.

I will remember him as one of the nicest people I ever met; ill the whole time I knew him but always friendly and always making time for his students.
