Come on Adam, not all Boosh fans are 17-year-old goth/Emo kids.

You're right, some of them are in their mid-twenties and should know better.

Jose Gonzales is on there though.

Benicassim line up has been exapanded somewhat. Not sure about some of the bands on there, but names I recognise that I'm looking forward to:

Gnarls Barkley
Roisin Murphy (Moloko singer gone solo)
Hot Chip
Sigur Ros
Jose Gonzales
Metronome

Just got back from Download and aside from the campsite being a good 20 minute walk away from the stages, a good time was had. Particular highlights were Kiss being fantastically over the top, David Draiman of Disturbed managing the quite astonishing feat of doing an entire set with his head stuck right up his own arse, Pendulum getting even the most hardened leather clad rockers dancing away like loons and The Wildhearts making me feel really, really old.

Did you sell all your vodka jellies or did you have to take the ultimate sacrifice and eat them all?

Back from download festival yesterday, 'twas good.

Line up not as good as before, but was fun and saw a few decent bands. Bloody sunburnt like hell though.

The Boosh fest was fantastic!
As well as the headlining act (the boosh band), I saw the charlatans, Peaches, Har Mar Superstar, Jarvis Cocker, Robin Ince, Mathew Holness, Matt Berry and Ross Noble. (who was awesome... He gave everyone an imaginary monkey to take home and put on ebay - Check it out, ...some people have actually put thier imaginary monkeys on ebay!)

Back from FIB on monday. Absolutely amazing time, although I now know I'm too old to camp in the sun for any length of time. My favourite band of the festival was Gnarls Barkley, favourite 'never-heard-of' was Facto Delafe y Las Flores Azules (spanish hip hoppy group) and other particular highlights were Hot Chip, Calvin Harris, Battles, Sigur Ros, El Guincho, Lightspeed Champion and Jose Gonzales.

I basically lived off between 2 and 4 hours sleep a night, hangovers for 8 days solid, and 'relaxed' by lying in oppressive sunshine all day burning different parts of my body (including my armpits one day). Really glad I went, but don't think I could manage it again.
