Not a fan at all, but I'm impressed that One Direction, who have been a band for about 2 months, are performing as if they've been together for years.
Still hoping for a Matt, Rebecca, and Paije final, but I reckon Cher or One Direction will be there. To me, those 5 acts will make up the top 5. And onto non-music shows, Psychoville was great. Nice creepy treehouse-of-horror style episode. And series 2 looks like it's going to be another good'un. |

Am I the only one that thought Cher was bad? She was squeaking when she was trying to hit the high notes. It hurt my ears.

Psychoville Special was brills. It probably could have been spookier, but I still liked it lots.
I also watched the last half of 100 Scariest Moments, which was more like '100 scariest films/tv shows/etc'. Mostly predictable but some great classics and a few nice surprises in there. T'was fun. |

Was it The Shining? It's been a while since I saw it, even though it's on every few months.

The Trip
Didn't know whether to laugh or cry at times, but it was poignant and a nice half hour. Will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Am hoping it's not just going to go along self-obsessed avenue and take a left down mememe drive. I do adore Mr Coogan. Whites I wish I'd seen last weeks episode now. Getter better with each week. Alan Davies DOES have lady hair. Harry and Paul New characters please. Thank you. |

Yeah, for me it was between her and super-nervous David. The other guy just seemed a bit too smug and cocky for my liking.

Not sure if I like Film 2010 the way it is or not. I like Winkleman on panel shows but not sure about her in this, or the Alex Kapranos bloke. They seem to want to make Empire TV.
The Top 5 was pathetic. Top 5 Rubik's Cube moments! Number 2, Charlie Sheen holds one briefly in Being John Malkovich! The irritating Antonia woman's feature on Steve McQueen seemed a bit redundant as well. Is he still though of as the King Of Cool - a few decades ago maybe. Her example of how "cool" he was on Magnificent Seven and how he stole scenes from Brynner in the film was true enough, but they didn't finish the story, where Brynner cleverly scuppers any further attempt to get the limelight with a genius line (he told McQueen he could play up all he wants, but all he had to do to get the audiences attention was take off his hat). And was McQueen really everyone's favourite in M7? It probably looks as if McQueen really irritated me - actually it was the Antonia woman. |
