If you have cable / satellite it's on Alibi. Seemingly most nights at about 9.
My favourite Firefly reference is still Castle dressing up as a "space cowboy" for Halloween and being asked by his daughter "Didn't you wear that, like, 5 years ago?" Here it is. Also there are props from Firefly that Nathan Fillion stole littered about in the background of Castle in various episodes apparently. This post has been edited by NiteFall: May 16 2011, 03:30 PM |

I enjoyed the Firefly reference in last week's Castle. At least I think it was last week's, I'm still catching up on tv I missed while I was away, it was the one where Beckett and Castle run into a warehouse and Castle says something in Mandarin to two workers then says something about learning it from a tv show he loved. Which reference was that? I'm not sure if you guys are on the same eps that we are. Season finale is tonight - excited! |

I'm currently watching this National Geographic thing about what we'd do in an alien invasion. Basically, we're fucked.

I'm really enjoying Psychoville 2.
I have taken to mumbling/shouting "Not now silent singer!" around the house. In fact, I'm enjoying it so much, I might start watching the League of Gentlemen which I have NEVER SEEN. |

I'm predicting that one of the old lot get's killed in each episode. |

Robert or I suppose I should say Jason Tompkins is the weakest actor out of the whole cast. I find his scenes jarring at times as the rest of the cast are so strong. He was, that story always felt a bit jarring, his was a far less believable plot point than Joy, Lomax, or Jelly (although Jolly's resoning for getting him involved still doesn't make sense to me - yes, he was doing Jelly's operation when he heard his mum had died. That's not Jelly's fault, though. Maybe I missed something. Jolly's ringtone is superbly creepy, though. I am watching S2 of Sugar Rush on TV Choice. It's better than I remember (I always liked it), but fuck me they over-use Nouvelle Vague. |

Looks like Parks & Recreation may be coming to the UK, Sky is now listing it on it's Never Miss service as "Coming 2011".

I'm quite enjoying The Shadow Line. Setphen Rea is super creepy, RAfe Spall funny-scary, and Christopher Ecclestone is just plain brilliant. I'm enjoying this too, but it does bear a striking similarity to Luther – right down to the look & sound of the credits. However, the cast are brilliant, and every time I see him I wonder how Chiwetel Ejiofor isn't a better-known actor. The guy is simply marvellous in every role and it'd be a damn shame if he doesn't get a crack in the movies, he was excellent in Serenity and so far on this he's been wonderful. I watched the repeat on Sunday night and afterwards they had a trailer for the upcoming new Luther series. Oh my god am I excited, might've been my favourite show of the whole of last year and you can't get enough Idris Elba for my money. Dude is money. |
