Is he the Joe Cornish lookalike? I've not been watching. No no no no no, no http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPCDCes-Ot8 He's a cross between a Jedi, a wizard, and a hostage negotiator. He's like a Harlem Globetrotter and the other contestants are Washington Generals. If anything he looks like Wikus van der Merwe. EDIT: Go to 14:05 for the greatest piece of negotiation you've ever seen. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b011d..._for_the_Savoy/ Things to note - how often he uses people's first names, and the last minute discount of £10. His team won overall by £8 Oh, Jim. |

For anybody up to season 3 of Nurse Jackie, I'm so glad that the drug dealer got hit by the truck, I don't think that storyline was going to work the way it was going.
And stop making me your sappy bitch, Modern Family. |

Big Jim, for the win. He's possibly not very tall, I haven't noticed... I just like the name Big Jim.

Big Jim, for the win. He's possibly not very tall, I haven't noticed... I just like the name Big Jim. He's very charming. Unlike Vincent, who is a slimy version of Dogtanian. I'm hoping some of the girls leave to balance it out, there seems to be a lot of them and I'm not sure what all of them are called. The girl in the boardroom this week (Zoe?) spent the whole time doing little and then rolling her eyes, puffing out her cheeks and raising her eyebrows at Lord Sugar. I think he's marked her card, but not in the same way as at the German bank orgy. This post has been edited by Shack: May 20 2011, 08:36 PM |

Has anyone else been watching Bob's Burgers? I was unimpressed by the first few episodes - especially in comparison to Loren Bouchard's earlier shows like Home Movies - but it's really developed into a terrific comedy. It's not quite as good as star H. Jon Benjamin's other animated show, at least not yet, but it does the sort of small-scale, character based comedy that King of the Hill used to do brilliantly, but with enough wackiness to stop it getting quite as sleepy as that show could.
If nothing else, it's nice to see Fox putting a little support behind an animated show that isn't created by Seth Macfarlane. This post has been edited by maian: May 23 2011, 02:44 PM |

It think that after a slow start it has really blossomed into a very appealing comedy. Ssh. Its art crawl. |

Any show that makes Kevin Kline a recurring guest actor is automatically a winner. His line, "Is it me? Is it abortions?" in the season finale really floored me. Great, great delivery.
Also, Kristen Schaal is the perfect evil child. |

They aired the first season of seven episodes last year, then recommissioned it. The second season starts in June.

All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace
Well, that required concentration. Brilliant. In conclusion, global financial institutions and their accountants have been stitched up by China and the Far East following an earlier stitching up in the other direction. Made me wonder what would have happened had Greenspan followed his gut in the bath. |

Fringe is BLOWING MY MIND
It's like The X-Files, meets Lost, meets The Twilight Zone. I fupping love it. Though I am worried this week's Sky One episode LSD is going to be this season's Brown Betty. Fingers crossed for more like 'Exposé' (Lost). JJ Abrams can get batshit one-offs just right sometimes. |
