Apparently they've finished production on Boondock Saints 2: All Saint's Day. This can not possibly be a good idea, unless we're going to get Overnight 2: Duffy Goes Batshitter as part of the deal.

Apparently Guy Ritchie has signed up to direct a Lobo film. I for one cannot wait to see the exploits of everyone's favourite indestructible psychotic Czarnian bounty hunter somehow reimagined as a wanky East End gangster flick.

Yeah, I'd heard that too. Really not sure how to feel about it.

See that does sound like a bad idea, but I actually like Boondock Saints quite a bit. The plot's not the world's greatest thing, for sure, but the flashback-gunfight was good fun, Willem Dafoe goes apeshit a lot and someone gets killed with a toilet. These factors (and the very slick killing scenes in the opening third) make it a good movie from my perspective. It got slammed generally didn't it?

I'm not sure how it did, critically, but the opinions I've heard about it have veered from ''It's amazing!" to "It's horrible!" with almost no middle ground. I lean towards the latter because it seems, to me, to be little more than a piece of sub-Tarantino gun-porn that I found quite boring, with the exception of Willem Dafoe, whose performance is great to watch but is in a film that is undeserving of it.

Paranormal Activity

It seems to be getting very good reviews. I've seen a UK release date for 27 November, don't know how accurate that is though.

I'm sure this must have already been posted somewhere earlier but I think Zombieland looks mighty fun.

Does anyone have a translation of the title of the clip? Babel Fish is not too good. It translates the first two characters (starting at the left) as Sets up but doesn't do anything with the final two.

The last two characters are 'suru' which is just the infinitive ending to the verb i.e. "to -", so are not important to the meaning. It's setsuritsu-suru, which means 'to establish', so I would assume it means in the context of this being an establishing shot or video.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but The Foot Fist Way looks like it could be good silly entertainment.
