I'm still plugging away at it, though so far I'd be pressed to say that I expect it to last me more than a day or two more at this rate. Rent it maybe.

I'd not go as far to say that I'd love it. It is ok, I am just finding amusement with farting and murder still but it won't last long.

So you'd say Fable 2 is more of an entertaining distraction (like messing around in GTA4) rather than an essential purchase?
I keep thinking "I could do with an RPG on my 360", keep forgetting I already have Mass Effect. I'm holding off playing it because I know I'll be on it for hours when I do. That and I'm completely lost. |

Mass Effect just isn't big enough.
Fable 2 is alright, I am not a huge way through yet though so it could improve. Lost Odyssey is good too, for a 360 RPG. And I am looking forward to The Last Remnant, although I'll get it on PS3 |

The PS3 is certainly sexier than the 360.
MGS4 is good so far but I think I'm more impressed by the condition of Snake's buttocks than anything else. |

That whole game is shiny and magnificent, it appeals to me in so many ways (particularly the long cutscenes). |

Shiny buttocks that look like they are carved from stone!
In other news. The 360's inability to keep an internal clock whilst unplugged and not conencted to the internet is fucking retarded. |

I like it a lot.
Gameplay wise it's pretty straightforward in the fact that theres really only one path you can take through the game (though in set piece battles obviously where you take cover is your choice). The cover and shooting mechanic is intuitive and good. It looks very very nice. Theres a cool (but very very insignificant) "clothes getting wet" thing in the game. You will wade through waist deep water and Drakes jeans will be all dark and wet and dry out over time. it's pointless and doesn't do anything, but looks cool. The story and characters are great, they take all the best cliched parts from films like Indiana Jones and put them across in a way that is highly entertaining. Theres some decent Trophies to be gained as well. Well worth a shot, especially now that it's a platinum title. |

I came to the conclusion that with Fallout 3 on Friday and Wrath of the Lich King in a couple of weeks I don't have room in my life for any other games.
So, obviously, I've just started a fresh game of MGS4 and am installing Dead Space. |

Shiny buttocks that look like they are carved from stone! In other news. The 360's inability to keep an internal clock whilst unplugged and not conencted to the internet is fucking retarded. It's true that Snake's supremely masculine form was carved by the Gods themselves. Oddly, some 360's do keep time. Nobody I know has one that does, but I looked online when I got mine to see if there was something I could do, and it seems some do some don't. Maybe it's just UK ones having inferior components. Mine has trouble ripping music CDs too, it just gets the first and last track. |
