As I have been given a month's free Xbox Live Gold membership (for some reason) I am now playing online and will probably be keeping it going into next year. I've played a bit of GTAIV and Burnout Revenge online which has been quite enjoyable. It's all a bit new for me as I haven't really played anything multiplayer apart from Halo on the PC.
My gamertag is "ObstinateFoil", if anyone fancies a game of something. What do you guys generally play online at the moment? |

ahh that pains me to hear about the FF8 troubles. Much love for that game! Hope you manage to get it fixed!
@ Sir_Robin_the_brave, if you every fancy playing some Vegas 2, Call of duty world at war, or Fifa 09 (plus ive got a plathora of old games!) send me an invite. Im on fairly often. Gamertag: KrisMikeHunt Ive got gears 2 also but I have to say im feeling like i wasted £40 at the moment. Im sure it will get playtime, i just shouldnt have got it at release! *EDIT* oh yeah, forgot about farcry 2! I play that online a fair bit too! I've remembered another game from this year to go on my list: Condemned 2, which I really enjoyed. Probably the grubbiest game I've played and enjoyable from start to crazy finish. I'm also now looking forward with interest to FEAR 2 or Project Origin or whatever they're calling it now. It could be very good if they introduce a little more variety into the enemies and locations and keep the excellent A.I. and atmosphere of the original. |

I wasn't saying it was them, I was just saying how ridiculously expensive it is.
LEGO is too - I was looking at stuff for my sister, and most things are 2 or 3 times more expensive than in the LEGO catalogue. Again, 3rd parties. But still... |
