I still fail to see how dogs "break" the game. Or how they break it SO BADLY that they lower the title to "worlds shittiest game". They're just a challenge, is all. They aren't even hard to shoot, or knife.# In fact, I'm going to say right here in black and white for all to see that WAW is the best online game I've ever played. It's not just the dogs that make the game so shit. There are many many reasons. I wouldn't say that it was the worlds shittiest game but it's certainly up there. The dogs aren't that hard to kill, no. But the amount of times that I've had someone in my sights about to get an easy kill when some little mangey mutt comes haring round a corner and throws off my aim is unforgivable. When it happens once or twice it's ok but when it gets to the point were it's infuriating then that's when the marks go right down. As I say, the core gameplay itself is great, there's just one or two lazy design features that spoil the thing. Shitty dogs and pedantic balancing issues are just two of them. I reckon Gears Of War, the first one, might just beat Call Of Duty to the post on the best online experience front, well, console-wise anyway. I'm sure there are many games on the PC that mock the poor consoles daily. WoW being just one that springs to mind. When I said that WAW was the worlds shittiest game I was merely over exagerating for comedic purposes. It is a flawed experience no matter what anyone says. Sorry if you can't comprehend this. |

Finally finished Fallout 3. It's the first game I've ever played in any depth; clocked up over 100 hours on it. The ending was a let down. In fact, I didn't even know I'd sorted it until the final cut scene played.
Played it through as a good character, will have to go back through and play as a bastard! I'm pretty sure I got all 20 Bobbleheads, but didn't get the achievement, hmmppphhh... I'd definitely agree with those who have said the side quests make the game, they were far more interesting than the main one. |

I quite liked the main quest in Fallout 3. More so than the main quest in Oblivion, which I still haven't finished.

Sweetie get a DS and get an R4 http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/ne...icle2933237.ece you'll never look back. Of course I only use my R4 to play MP3s and not pirate games from pirate bay because that would just be wrong. It's the only way to survive long journeys.

Is it me or does Colonel Radec in Killzone 2 sound a bit camp? I thought he sounded a bit like Julian Clary at one point.

Anyone been watching Unskippable or There Will Be Brawl on The Escapist?
Unskippable's a lot of fun, though it does vary from episode to episode since not every game's cinematics are quite as awful as they can be. The ones for Onimusha 3 and Eternal Sonata are my current faves, as is Star Ocean, featuring Yahtzee. There Will Be Brawl is great for Nintendo freaks like me. An attempt to give the Smash Bros. series a plot by incorporating aspects of dystopian fiction, film noir and movie parodies, it's very well done and very funny. If you like Nintendo, that is. Doesn't everyone who'd even be remotely interested in that game already own it several times over already? |

Doesn't everyone who'd even be remotely interested in that game already own it several times over already? Shiny up-scaling? I'd just like to reccomend EETS:Chowdown from the Xbox Live Arcade. It's a very bright, cute and innovative game that's a cross between Lemmings and Braid(ish). Oh and I'm full on addicted to Vampire Wars on facebook. It's silly just how much you want to level up.
