It seems Marvel versus Capcom 2 is heading for Xbox Live. Right now the only hint is this count down site. The name of the site is supposedly referring to the fantastically cheesy character select tune from the game, Take You for a Ride. My fingers are well and truly crossed, it's my favorite fighting game without a doubt.

That's great, I have been looking for torrents now that I knew which file type to look for (Eboot), but my Bitlord is being shite and downloading half the file but says it's downloaded it all. I'm just left with a load of useless .BC! files. Oh and Final Fantasy 8 discs three and four...

And you did buy those discs, right..? wink.gif

I'm way behind the curve, but I bought Dead Space last night. Probably won't get into it for a week or so, but I'm looking forward to some scares.

It's rather good. Have you played Fallout 3? What with it being set in around where you live and work I thought you might enjoy it even more than most.

I finished Brothers in Arms the other day and its very good fun. The story is a bit too convoluted and the "actors" don't have the same believablity of Half Life 2 which does mean that its hard to relate to any of them but still, I may actually play through it again on authentic mode if my controller can withstand getting thrown at the wall in anger.

See, now thats a retro fighting game I'd probably buy.

just had a play on the steam demo of Tomb Raider underworld. Goddamn those graphics are hot. Ehem the scenery and stuff I mean. Who needs to pay extortionate prices for air fare when you can run around Thailand with a sexy chick from the comfort of your chair. Might just go and buy it next pay check.

You know, I bought it months ago and I haven't had the time to really start it properly. I played about 10 minutes of it, to the point where I was supposed to help some woman who was getting thrashed by giant cockroaches. I had too much going on at the time to get into it, but it's on the top of the pile.

Believe me, once you're into it, its hard to get out of. 10's of hours can just fly by, scary stuff.

Damn straight sir!

And it's been confirmed, the countdown is over and the announcement of Marvel Versus Capcom 2 making its way to XBL is solid. Can't wait to finally play it online, especially after the original had that feature canned over here.

I might get it just so's I can play as Wolverine and make him say "BERSERKER BARRAGE!" over and over.

EDIT: I will be gettign it on the PS3 though. Odd bit of news if it's true as well:

In a curious move, Capcom also announced that there will be a MvC2 demo going online this Thursday -- except, it's for PlayStation Network only. If you're a 360 gamer curious about this upcoming release, you'll need to hang out at a PS3-buddy's house to get in on the action early.

Fable 2: A friend told me today that if you marry Lady Grey (part of a quest where you help the gravekeeper bring her back to life in the hopes that she'll fall in love with him), she eats your baby (if you have one).

I don't know whether to believe him or not.

As is the even better sequel. Possibly the most enjoyable eight hours I've spent on a game.

I think I've played it through about ten times.
