I haven't even played it online yet, still working through the single player. I've just got into mexico. Loving it. Although I get bored of the horse riding, especially when you have to just follow someone for miles.

Yeah that started to bother me too. I'd rather get there how I wanted or just fast travel rather than ride and listen to crap.

As I've finished my OU course we've bought Red Dead Redemption, just waiting for it to arrive now.

I think I'm starting to get the hang of Dragon Age... after seven hours of playing on it!

I have picked some flowers, shot some birds and lassooed a horse so far in Red Dead Redemption. I also accidentally shot someone so I will no longer be responsible for the bits of the game where I have to aim at people.

Just picked up Bayonetta, Condemned 2: Bloodshot, and Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires for about $35 total. I haven't even got a chance to play my copies of 3D Dot Game Heroes or Red Dead Redemption yet.
So many games, so little time. I really need to finish Final Fantasy XIII... |

Just gone and got Toy Story 3 for the Playstation as my birthday present from my in-laws. Toys R Us bizarrely had the cheapest price, I always forget to look there and it's only round the corner from us. Not going to start playing it until I've seen the film on Wednesday though.

Woo! Monkey Island 2: Special Edition! I second that, though due to moneys I'll be waiting till it's on deal of the week. The commentry option has me very interested indeed. I'm warming to Red Dead after sporadically playing it for the last two weeks. The landscape still feels a bit barren and devoid of variety though, the long rides during missions are a chore most of the time but at least the character dialogue is generally top notch. The "Who are you to judge?" stranger mission in particular caused a few muted laughs. |

And finally I've started HD gaming. I started off with MGS4 after playing through the first 3 games. At first I thought there was something wrong with my tv, there were white specks popping up all over the screen. Then I realised it was sand blowing up against the "camera". I liked that, and HD is pretty.

On the other scale of things, I'm going retro with the original Silent Hill. Just about adjusted to the appalling graphics now.
Completed 2 (bloody good) last week and 3 and 4 lined up to go through next. Supernatural. |

Silent Hill 2 remains the pinnacle of survival horror/creepy ass games. God I love, and fear, SH2 so much.
San Andreas runs on my netbook, it was at about 11FPS till I tweaked it to run at about 20FPS which is really quite playable. Tried Civ4 and that runs at 7FPS This post has been edited by monkeyman: Jul 20 2010, 10:10 PM |

I've hit a brick wall playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I just cannot beat the Peace Walker mk II or the first Monster Hunter mission.
