Oh, it's got DLC alright and as you might have expected from Capcom it's costumes galore. They're following FFXIII-2's lead and doing a little cross promotion and for the very first time it's something I'd be mildly tempted by if I had the game (but would still never buy on principle) -

Whether this is Japan exclusive remains to be seen of course.

Heh. I saw that a while ago, I'd be surprised if it got released here. Having said that though, it's only armour and they'd lose nothing by charging £1.99-£2.99 for it. Which I'd probably pay....

I just read a blog in which someone pissed and moaned endlessly about loud mouth online players, the types to enter lobbies and issue commands while talking about how great they are. She was writing about those players existing in Call of Duty, it's kind of a moot point really after this amount of time don't you think?
I started writing a response and unwittingly fell into rhyme scheme and decided, for a change, not to delete the whole thing and forget it.
This is one of my typically pointless selfish kinds of post so feel free to roll eyes at me here and move along if need be though I'd be curious to hear others thoughts on dealing with smack talk online.

Hey! I'm that guy and I'll tell you why,
Hell, I'll rhyme retort just for you,
There's a side you're ignoring,
You must find it boring,
It's just what you blogging types do.

Now when I play Halo, I bluster and bellow, when players are provably bad,
You see there are times, as the game type defines, when thick players just make this man mad,
My preference; team players, the rowdiest voices, and those who are in for the win,
Yet low and behold, team killers and trolls, silent cretins when matches begin,
They act without thought, ignore all objective, they're often just fooling for fun,
But when I've had enough, of betrayals and guff, it's time for complaints to be spun.

If I've set my game up to find like minded comrades, and pillocks and morons abound,
I'll turn on my mic and critique what I see, I'll point out the dumb play that I've found,
But then I don't provoke, it's reactive you see, and I know that you're being precise,
See, I'm not that guy, my first line was a lie, but isn't this rhyme rather nice?

So you see there's a time, when a man has to whine, and it's fair when it's outright provoked,
But when fools come a-calling, and start caterwauling, I'd bet reasonable money you've choked,
I suggest you belittle, make fun of their ego's, laugh off and mock their assault,
'Cause if you're just moaning, fruitless online complaining, then my dear you are just as at fault...

...for not having the wit or wherewithal to deal with the issue in the moment, instead waiting till later to react in an environment where the people you take issue with can't talk back.
Here's the bottom line - don't play Call of Duty. EVERYONE knows it's full to the brim with the biggest fools around. Find a game that doesn't have that reputation and at least you wont run into quite as many infuriatingly egotistical players because the game you choose to play isn't changing a bit no matter how much you write stuff like this.
The rhyme thing kind of tailed off there...sorry!

But seriously, they were complaining about people talking on mic about tactics and that in game? That's kind of the point of team speak...I'd rather that then dickheads singing or shouting racist shit.

Depends on whether you're likely to play it more than once really. If you're playing one time I'd say wait for the extended ending to land. If you're not and you can find it at a low price then I'd say go for it. Otherwise I'd just wait on more price drops and spend the money you save on the DLC.

I think I'll wait. My birthday's coming up in a few weeks so I was going to ask my parents for a shiny new 360 game. I think I'll go for the Devil May Cry HD Collection instead, as I fancy a bit of over-the-top hack'n'slash Japanese nonsense.

Just a thought... does anybody know if you can use a conventional MIDI keyboard controller with Band Hero? The drums' detachable control box gizmo has both MIDI In/Out ports, but I wasn't sure if it was merely as simple as that, or whether one would need additional add-ons...?

Just saw this for sale, which may be needed. Or might not. I have no idea honestly.
