Yeah, the last section of the game is there when the Colonel goes crazy, and you're running around naked in "Ascending Colon" and locations like that
I suppose it was easier to remember for me because even though I'd not played 2 myself since 2005, it was still the most futuristic thing in the series. You've played 4 though, where everything is weird techy nanomachine nonsense like Arsenal. This post has been edited by GundamGuy_UK: Jul 8 2012, 12:23 PM |

It's such a great game. Kojima is such a crazy, brilliant man.
Have you heard the Godzilla vs King Kong thing? Snake is Godzilla; he was created by Man, but turned against them and is dangerous. Raiden is King Kong, born in nature but turned into a monster by the way Man treats him. This isn't some fan thing, Kojima said that himself. There's a bit more to it than that, but I can't remember the exact wording. I wish the HD Collection had all the making of videos that game with the PS2 game, they were really interesting. He built the Big Shell out of LEGO to show people what he wanted it to look like. This post has been edited by GundamGuy_UK: Jul 8 2012, 01:11 PM |

I was gutted to hear they weren't on the collection. I think I have the original DVD's though (non substance/subsistence one). I'd have loved to sit and watch those again. Also, no Skateboarding Snake

Yeah that sucks too. I wonder why they didn't include that stuff. It's not like it wouldn't fit on the blu-ray

The cynic in me wants to say "So they can charge for it as DLC later", but Konami aren't anything like as bad as Capcom.
There's possibly some licensing issue somewhere that prevents it; perhaps Ape Escape is Sony exclusive, or the interviews use some music that they couldn't buy the rights to, or something. Wasn't the vampire dream cut from MGS3 due to a problem with it referencing Devil May Cry? This post has been edited by GundamGuy_UK: Jul 8 2012, 07:56 PM |

Oh you're probably right about why the Ape Escape stuff was cut. Shame. I'd pay like £1 for it as DLC, I can't see them bothering with it though tbh. I would have liked to have seen the making of more though.
The Vampire dream stuff was weird, I'm sure I played it, but now I think I must have just watched a video of it at some point. |

If it has been cut (I'm not certain, I just remember reading it somewhere) it's no great loss. Just one of the many little Easter Eggs in that game.
Speaking of Kojima, where the Hell is my Z.O.E HD Collection!? It was announced ages ago, and they mention it at every expo they go to, but there's still no release date. It can't be that hard, ZOE2 was borderline HD as it is. |

QUOTE Guy Savage was not included in both the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection version of Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. They've been oddly quiet on the ZOE HD front. Also, where is my Final Fantasy 10 HD :/ |

Fiver for a download on Game if anyone likes that sort of thing and has hoooooours to spare. Tempting. I've not played that type of game for a while. I need something to fill the time between now and Rome 2. I did recently reinstall The Guild 1400 though. |
