Free Outdoor Screening of Hot Fuzz:
QUOTE 24 July – As part of the Gloucester Festival 2008, movie fans can see Simon Pegg’s comedy Hot Fuzz in the great outdoors for free, at Café Rene.
Catch local boy Simon Pegg on the big screen for free this summer.Yes, you read that correctly, this summer, you can see Simon Pegg’s rib-crackingly funny film Hot Fuzz alfresco and absolutely free of charge. Being shown as part of the Gloucester Festival 2008, on Thursday 24 July 2008, the open air screening of the action comedy will begin at 9.30pm on a big screen erected at Greyfriars, next to Gloucester’s Café Rene. There’s no need to bring your own popcorn, as the drinks and a summer barbeque will be laid on by Café Rene – with a small charge for this, of course – so all you need to remember is to bring a chair, if you want a comfy seat. Keep your fingers crossed for a warm summer’s evening under the stars, but if the heavens do decide to open the screening will be moved indoors, so umbrellas won’t be needed! Event: Outdoor cinema screening of Hot Fuzz Venue: Café Rene Date: Thursday 24 July 2008 Times: From 9.30pm Tickets: Admission is free. The film is rated 15 and is unsuitable for children.
