I really like what I've seen so far. It's over-the-top fun, and Neil Patrick Harris is hilarious. I've always liked him. I hate that show he's on ... but I think he's a scream. Nathan Fillion, as always, is terrific. So far, so good.

Entertaining, but I'm not sure how far the joke will stretch.

I'm interested to see if this takes a dark-ish turn. I want to see what he does with Captain Hammer.

Isn't it? You are so right. He's so over-the-top in this ... I LOVE IT! He was absolutely perfect casting. I gotta say, that Neil Patrick Harris kid is always surprising me. He's really good.

I've just popped back in to gush about this with you lot 'cos I knew you'd get it (everyone I talk to about it looks a bit bemused).

I have to say, I fupping loved this. I had very low expectations - Dougie Howser in an online blog with cheesy songs, written by a past-it TV writer whose every show has been cancelled in its prime? Rrrrubbish! And then I watched it, smacked myself round the face and remembered just what a genius Whedon is with a witty line and a love story.

How is Neil Patrick Harris not a bigger star, though? Yeah, Fillion's sexy and ting and but NPH has comic timing, can do that broken stare like nobody's business (that shot at the beginning of Act II? I nearly wept into my lunchtime tabbouleh) and also is a bit foxy in a Gordon Ramsay way.

To summarise: wheeeeee!

Finally got around to watching Act I and my, my was it fantastic. I was giggling like a fool all the way through and I was really impressed with Neil Patrick Harris. Despite the sheer silliness of it all he manages to be quite sympathetic (emphasis on the final three syllables) and really carries the show along.

As for Fillion. Wow.
