News coming from this years Monster Mania convention, John Landis [Director of An American Werewolf in London] has cast Simon Pegg in his upcoming film 'Burke and Hare' which is based on the true story of the Burke and Hare Murders (also known as the West Port murders) which took place between 1827 and 1828 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The film is set to be a comedy with Simon playing the part of one of the murderers, although it is not yet known which one he will play. Filming is slated to start this year at Ealing Studios.
