Another very funny episode this week. Interesting to see them do a two-parter in the middle of a season, but I do feel that the pillow/blanket fort story is grand enough to warrant such time being allotted to it. This week was especially good for Annie - I laughed a lot when she talked about her sleep class and how she was using the pouch of her kangaroo to sneak in another toy - and Garrett, who's probably my favourite minor character at this point (though if they ever bring Paradox back that may change). All the Subway stuff was great, too.
Edit: Also, in case anyone is wondering how the show is doing, ratings wise, and what that means for a fourth season, the news is very positive. This was the first week since Christmas that it has had to face off against The Big Bang Theory, which has generally been seen as the main thing stopping the show from getting more viewers since there is an overlap between the two, and it didn't lose many viewers from last week, and it's still doing very well amongst the 18-49 demographic, which is what matters to advertisers and can have a big effect on the network's decision to continue with the show. More importantly - and surprisingly - it was the best rated show on NBC for the second week in a row. That's more a sign of how shitty everything else on NBC has been doing lately - even 30 Rock is tanking after its long absence - and also because The Office and Parks and Rec haven't been on in the last two weeks, but what could keep the show around for a fourth (or more) seasons at this point is proof that it has a small but dedicated audience who will always tune in, which it has demonstrated pretty comprehensively over the last couple of weeks. So things are looking pretty good at the moment. This post has been edited by maian: Mar 30 2012, 07:23 PM |

I really like the direction they're going with Troy and Abed's relationship, as much as it also makes me very sad. The conversation they had at the end of last week's episode almost made me tear up.

I like the theory that the episode title, Digital Exploration of Interior Design, can only relate to the encounter between Britta and Subway.
I love you Subway! |

That's a very funny - and filthy - joke if true. Two more things I loved about this episode: Pierce being on fine form, particularly with his line about implanting memories in Britta's head, and the erection joke with the representative of Subway. |

If Chevy Chase does leave I hope they can get Bill Murray to replace him.

Harmon has said that he wants Bill Murray to appear as Jeff's dad, and since he and Chase don't get along, I think that his leaving would be the most likely way for that to happen.

I hope they don't end up regretting using the blanket war storyline now, that would have been perfect for the movie.
Needed more Brita. I was also expecting this to be where Starburns dies. |

Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas may well be my favourite Christmas special ever.
