Indeed. Slightly disappointed that the great chain wasn't used. I loved that reveal in the book but I understand why they changed some things for TV.

I had high hopes for this episodeas I knew Neil Marshall had directed it. Wasn't disappointed
What really made the episode was that I realised that the great Wilko Johnson plays Ser Ilyn Here he is at his peak...how many guitarists/bands have copied him since. |

Yeah that wide shot of the wildfire exploding into life was just spectacular. When everything started kicking off, I almost instantly forgot how it had played out in the book and was just totally engrossed. Utterly superb episode.

Drunk, bitter Cersei is awesome. So angry at where she finds herself just because she was born a woman.
I also love that even though she is half-cut she is still lucid enough to spot that Shae is a liar. |
