I have no idea what I'm going to catch this year. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume anything that looks half decent that's free as I'll have no cash.

I haven't even looked at the fringe programme this year, beyond checking if the Al Murray's pub landlord is back with his pub quiz. He is. I think we should form a team, win a chicken then have everyone round ours so Kei can cook it

Not to sound like a broken record but, Mr Paul Victor Currie is doing The Comedy Zone at Pleasance Courtyard Cabaret Bar 10:45pm every night 3rd until 28th I think.

Worth a gander.

Edit: Ah. You have that on the list. Dope.

Planning on seeing that and hooking up with Avalon contacts at the same time. Other than that, I think I've narrowed down the list enough to apply for these.

Most likely it'll be most of these, plus the free shows, and no doubt a few swaps as inevitably ends up happening.

The Gentlemen of Leisure Present: The Death of the Novel
John-Luke Roberts and Nadia Kamil: The Behemoth
WitTank
Paul Foot: Still Life
Tim Key: Masterslut
Suitcase Royale in Zombatland
The Beta Males: The Train Job
Diane Spencer: All Pervading Madness
Thom Tuck Goes Straight to DVD
Peacock & Gamble's Emergency Broadcast
Tony Law: Go Mr Tony Go!
Wedding Band: A Comedy Play by Charlie Baker
Bring Me the Head of Adam Riches
Lady Garden
Colin Hoult 's Inferno
Idiots of Ants
Dead Cat Bounce
Max and Ivan are Holmes & Watson
Sheeps
David Reed: Shamblehouse
The Great Big Sketch Off

Anyone else got any recommendations? What am I missing.?

I'm seeing Adam Buxton on the 27th. And Tom 'Andrew from Buffy' Lenk on the 12th for his only show.

I'd like to see Colin Hoult. That's about all I can afford for now.

I've never been invited to meet anyone in Edinburgh other than Zoe so I wouldn't know. smile.gif

I got my tickets today! Some for the book festival - Esther Freud and Niall Ferguson.
