star ocean 3 is hard... i typed a longer review but it got deleted i guess. basically its the same production quality of ffx... if not better... great graphics, fully 3d rotatable, awesome design... but its pretty hard. the combat system takes a bit to get used to. I'd pick it up tho... it will entertain you for awhile.

Now ALSO playing: Hunter:The Reckoning- Wayward (got it for $10 at best buy!) and Suikoden IV (AMAZING game)

Me and a couple of friends have been busting through Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. Brilliant game, had to buy a second hand GBA and a couple of GBA-Cube link cables but it only came to about 45 quid and was well worth it. My new favourite mulitplayer game.

This is very much next on my purchase list.

Last night I finished Clock Tower 3 on the PS2, not a bad game really, very resident evil in gameplay style. I am also really enjoying Metal Slug on the GBA.

Finally caved in and got Halo... What a fucking game... Freaking fantastic!!!!

When I am done that, I have Morrowind waiting for me... No idea how that's gonna pan out, but it should keep me busy for a few months!

I got Battle For Middle Earth, crushing Uruk Hai beneath the hooves of the Rohirrim is strangely stress relieving. smile.gif

I got Fable and compeleted it in a week! I was hoping for something a bit for epic than that. sad.gif

So I got Sudeki, which is really good but again a bit short for my tastes.

I am thinking of getting Star Ocean next that is said to be quite long and good.

Final Fantasy VIII, or more specifically, Triple Triad. They should make these cards for real.

The one with the numbers on each side of the card and various rules depending which region you play in. The one where the cards actually mattered because you could convert them into items and magic.

lol, well you know it's not all playing games....oh wait, yeh it is! smile.gif

TBH there is a lot of paper/data entry work involved too. It's still a job after all.

Such a hard life... tongue.gif

You just have to find the bugs, us poor programmers have to actually fix the things! I bet you've never worked from 9am to half past midnight (OK so I did manage to fit in an hour of Counter Strike and some table football while the game was building) tongue.gif

This is actually the first weekend in a while that I haven't been in to work on our game a bit more...

Morrowind is pretty freakin sweet, Svein. But for old school fun, get its prequel Daggerfall... woah that's a cool came.

My bro said Fable was a letdown too. So sad. Star Ocean is really long and very well done. Its challenging too. Great story. GET IT!

HAHAHA, triple triad... ah the memories. That was my least favorite FF though. Does anyone remember Gold Saucer from FFVII??? I spent tons of time in the arcade there... doing the rollercoaster shooting game and the snowboarding game. HAHA, Suikoden III and Suikoden IV are LOADED with ridiculously addicting games... IV has one that's kind of like mahjongg that is sooooo addictive.

Unfortunately Suikoden III never came out in the UK, and I don't know if Suikoden IV will either.

You europeans must buy Resident Evil 4. God that game is sooooo good.

Anyway, I've since completed that game and have been attacking my giant backlog of games, and am almost finished with Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. This series along with the Jak & Daxter trilogy are some of the most fun platformers I've ever played!

Once I'm finished with this, I think I'll work on some of my RPGs, starting with Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for Gamecube.

I'm working through it now-got 6 of the 7 stars. Some levels got tedious but some were great. A fun game throughout and a major change from other mario games.

What are you lot looking forward to this year? Top of my list is Mercenaries for Xbox. I played the demo yesterday and ooooooh is it fun!
