Lando Carissian from Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He sells Han out to Jabba and the Empire. Excellent Star Wars reference thats often missed in the confusion of the scene on first viewing. (pointed it out to a couple of people when I've been introducing them to Spaced).

I always felt that the "You Lando" line was slightly redundant.
If you're a Star Wars fan then you will already pick up the reference just from the "They arrived just before you did" line - and if you're not a Star Wars fan then you won't know what it means even if they *do* mention Lando's name (and this point seems to have been illustrated here)

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to criticise because I could never write anything even remotely as good as any of the fantastic stuff in Spaced. But I'm not a huge Star Wars fan by any means and I got it before the "You Lando" line.
Anyway, that's just my two cents.

I think there are two types of great Spaced quotes.
There's the ones I love because the are so funny and clever and then there's the ones I love because they somehow find their way into my every day vocabulary.
Bf and I are always quoting Spaced stuff at each other.

Have you noticed that I'm just talking shit because it's too hard to think of the quotes I love, because there's toooooooo many of them.

One that we use a lot which hasn't been mentioned yet is:

"That was research!!!"

This Bit of dialogue cracks me up every time!

And not a line, but i love the scene in series 2 where Mike is eating the coffee. the look on his face is priceless.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading through that lot. Problem is I think the whole two series have been quoted about three times over now, so I'm not sure if I can add anything new to the thread. But here's a few of my favourites (either repeated or not):
