I love how they all keep apologising for the weather. As though they have some control over it.
Or do they?  unsure.gif

It gives a good idea of the type of pressure when they have so many people wanting autographs at once.
Poor buggers.
They really work hard to look after their fans.
Also - Edgar looks sensational there!  wub.gif

Aw, weren't they all sweet?  happy.gif  But it's a crazy occasion; no wonder Simon said he gets nervous about premieres. He handles it well, though, bless 'im.  wub.gif

Feel the love.

I've mentioned it before but it really is very disorientating on that side of the barrier. The bright lights and the noise make it very dizzying, particularly if it's after sunset and dark like the Hot Fuzz premiere was.

Having been on both sides I think the reason it feels so different and why some of the crowd feel disappointed is because on the carpet side you're constantly on the move and so don't have a fixed point to focus your attention on while on the fan side you're there on the same spot for anything between 2 and 6 hours. So it's often the case that the star and the fan just miss each other. Although it has to said that Simon, Nick, Edgar and a few others do their very best to get to as many of the fans as possible, which is fully appreciated.

They surely do.
Bless their cotton socks.

I can imagine how heartbreaking it must be for them if people do complain about being "missed" at something like that. (which I believe someone did complain about from that event)
If it was me I'd be happy just to see them!

I'd be bitterly disappointed if they missed me, but I certainly wouldn't blame them for it! huh.gif They can't possibly get to everyone at those things, but they do their darndest, despite being pulled every which way. rolleyes.gif Kudos to our boys. cool.gif

"Revealing: When the man gets the spike dropped on his head you can tell he has been swapped with a CGI look-alike"

I just read that on a movie mistakes site.

It made me laugh....

I mean...stunt people are good....but they're not THAT good.

It wasn't a CGI look-alike, it was a dummy, as documented by a picture on Adam Buxton's website, which for some reason I can't access...

Yeah what a stupid mistake that was! I can't believe they accidentally forgot to drop a spike through Buxton's head. Those silly duffers!
