Great to see you've got a part in the film Kev and Nick! Think I can see how you guys would fit in wink.gif

Couple of weeks or so ago I went down to Wells for a few days to watch how Hot Fuzz was being made. I'd never seen any proper filming being done so it was a real insight. Certainly was an eye opener into how much hard work goes into it. And believe you me, the guys and the superb crew are really working hard. I can't emphasise that enough! Hats off to them all!

The cast and crew who, as Llama and her friend found out too (nice meeting you Llama by the way!), were amazingly friendly and welcoming. From the start we were very well looked after being brought drinks, toasties, sandwiches, biscuits by Morag and Zoe ... Even suncream one day to prevent burning. How caring's that?! One evening a scene was being shot in the pouring rain (and still needed a fireman there with his hose to supply additional water?!) and we were getting drenched and Simon came over to invite us to stand under one of their tent things on set. That was very much appreciated!!!

Got to see lots of action going on (I won't give details!), and it has to be said, it all looks very exciting. Lots of fantastic actors are in it, along with a number of cameos, including Edgar and Simon's mums.

I heard from a number of people that the material that they've got already looks great, and that is definitely believable! Plenty of outtakes have been caught too so there'll be plenty of good fodder for the DVD.

Think we're definitely in for a treat when this comes out. Good luck to them!!!

You may be correct in saying that, Feckless, though the Harold Steptoe sideburns that one of us have are probably just about to get the (lamb) chop...

I didn't notice them, really I didn't (haha). Is one of you going to shave them off while he's asleep?

Sssh...I didn't give you that idea.

own it on DVD! biggrin.gif

What a dream it would be to work with them.... wub.gif
