Being a bit of a nitpicker, I was just wondering if someone could confirm something for me as a cursory Google hasn't turned anything up.
In this week's SG-1 episode, O'Neill gets promoted to Brigadier General. Dr Weir is still around, which means this episode was set before Stargate Atlantis kicks off. Now, the last thing to come through the Atlantis gate from Earth is a bottle of champagne with a note attached to it. Now, didn't it say on it Bon Voyage from Colonel O'Neill? Presumably that's a little continuity hiccup? |

I don't dislike Stargate, it's a relatively harmless way to kill 45 minutes, but I have only seen up to what they have shown on Channel 4.

Maybe it was another colonel O'Neill, who until now has remained away from the camera crews, preferring the relative anonymity of stores clerk, from where he purloined the bottle of champers???
Yes, it looks like a good spot! OR maybe he was joking when he wrote colonel... ah booger it! |

Well I don't know, I think I need to see it again because not even the Stargate forums seem to have noticed this - but would you believe, some people did complain that the handwriting didn't look like the one other example of O'Neill's handwriting that's been in the show when he warned the SG-1 team in the past not to go to a certain world! There was also a comment that it looked as if he'd started to write Colonel but then crossed it out, so I think perhaps I'm misremembering it...

Ben Browder, John Crichton of Farscape fame, has joined the cast of Stargate SG-1 for it's ninth series.
Could be entertaining! You can read slightly more here. |

Oh arse, I'm going to have to start watching that crap now then.
God, I was so dangerously in love with Ben Browder in Farscape. |

For me! I had to semi-hide my obsession from my boyfriend. Though I'm sure Mr Browder wouldn't have been best pleased to find out a scummer like me was going hormonal over him.

That's a 'janner', by all accounts. Oh hang on, that's Plymouth. I'm confused now. Who am I again? What is this place? Who's the president?

Looks like Black's getting in on the act as well . . .
I guess this means no more Farscape for a while . . . |

I would go gay for Claudia Black. Right, that settles it. Paint me in Geek and call me a Stargate SG-1 fan.
