QUOTE (maian @ Apr 17 2008, 09:07 PM)
Today it was 'Africa' by Toto. This may partly be due to Luke's stirring rendition on Saturday, though I don't really remember it*, but I think it's mostly down to Terry Wogan playing it this morning. Curse his lugubrious tones.
*Subtext: I'd had a few.

Ahh, it is now stuck in my head all over again. Damn you! tongue.gif

I have the Sugarbabes 'denial' in my head. I can't tell if it's the song or my shrink singing it. Oh how we laughed...

Unfortunately I have an old Sesame Street song stuck in my head: Healthy Food by Cookie Monster. It's got a hip hop feel to it. I think it was around the time that people started complaining about him always eating cookies and they panicked and put him on a healthy eating campaign.

That damned Fitness Made Simple jingle. Damn you, late-night television commercials and your cheesy, almost-danceable tunes!

This has been in my head since Sunday, and in between calls all day I've been stopping myself from singing 'We'll gladly do the favour of a hundred dollar hooker's-reacharound'

Too catchy.

I didn't really like this song before watching the film. I thought it was a bit soppy. Now, however, I think it's rather beautiful. It's in my head now, and probably will be for a couple of days.

Falling Slowly- Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova

I watched the last scene three times in a row. I like a Colonel Brandon gesture.

P.S. Having seen the film, this moment is now genuinely lovely

That was lovely. More a case of 'Ahhh' than 'Argh'. I really must get to see 'Once' now.

Great gag by John Stewart after Glen's speech. And getting Marketa back on? Just lovely.

It's genuinely heartening to see them, and the film, become Oscar winners.

It's enough to turn anyone into a sentimental fool.

I know it's not the season, but I found Within Temptation's "Gothic Christmas" song on youtube last night and it's so catchy (and silly) that it's been stuck in my head all day.
