QUOTE (Hieroglyphic Puppy @ Nov 10 2004, 12:16 AM) Tommy Tiernan's playing Vicar Street, Dublin soon + also an Amnesty gig on the 28th Nov also in Vicar Street. He's the best comedian to come out of Ireland by far. Ever. And I mean, ever! I'll be there, so I will. http://www.vicarstreet.com/event.asp?eid=59 |

I'm not sure, i've seen him live three times in the last month AND spent two hours in a small room with him.... he might get a bit scared. But Robin Ince is on the bill as well and i've not seen him, and Nat and Fee haven't seen him for ages... and he loves us.... so it might be really fun. why let fear of being feard stop me? I'll probably see you there... I'll be the one with the fabulous hairdo and the bling... |

Long time since this thread has been used.
Tonight I went to The Tattershall Castle on The Embankment. Saw Stewart Lee and Mark Thomas do an hour each. Both absolutely brilliant in their own ways. Stewart is one of my favourites [topped only by Sean Lock - who seems to have given up Stand up since getting regular TV work! - and perhaps Daniel Kitson] and was on top form. His style and delivery are a masterclass in "working the audience/gag" Brilliant. Mark Thomas was also very very good indeed. The usual polemic but very funny and important work ...and all for £7 Marvellous Chris |
