And here's a nice advert for it!

Isn't Adam's logo good? And what an excellent name, Rory. This really is a team effort.

Agreed! And good job to you for, you know, organising it and stuff.

I am up for a good few of those nights; Phil Nichol and Key & Basden particularly.

I have just returned from a recording of Jason Cook's Happiness HQ pilot in deepest Fallowfield. Lovely stuff, and excellent support from Chris Ramsey and Jason's mum.

Everyone was great last night. You must go and see Cardinal Burns live ASAP. Before their TV show airs, which we were treated to exclusive clips from, so you can say you'd heard of them when no one else had (even though lots of people have already heard of them)

The show is going to be on channel 4, I think, but here's a clip of something they did for the BBC

Line-up for the Horne Section at the Lyric on Monday is pretty spectacular

QUOTE
THE LAST SHOW IN THE WEST END RUN.

Alex Horne's jazz comedy party rumbles back onto the west end with an appearance from the sublime HARRY HILL

The star of Harry Hill's TV Burp, and winner of dozens of awards and accolades, we're delighted to have him play, with the full backing of the brass stylings of The Horne Section.
...
Performing alongside Harry will be:

TIM KEY

Edinburgh Comedy Award winner 2009. Star of Charlie Brooker's Screen/Newswipe, Mid Morning Matters w Alan Partridge and much much more.

“In any other sphere apart from comedy, we’d probably class this way of looking at the world as certifiable. Here it feels like genius”
- The Telegraph.

"He's a genius plain and simple" - Time Out

JONNY SWEET
Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer 2009

...and as if that isn't enough, we also have the hijinks of Schlomo + Andrew Van Buren, the Pottery's Porcelain Platespinner!

See you there!

Tickets £12 - 16

I wish it wasn't the week before pay day. Harry Hill is the best live comedian I have ever seen.

Two tickets for Sarah Millican's sold out Chatterbox tour next Thursday - yes please! Thank you Bloomsbury Box Office returns. We had tickets for it last year and I got the date wrong so we missed the show, so I am rather pleased.

And thank you Zoe for posting something about returns and prompting me to email them!

The Horne Section

Amazing! Everything was brill, Key, Basden, a plate spinner, Schlomo, smooth jazz, a Michael Jackson medley, Human Battleships, and a headline stand-up set from Harry Hill.

Doesn't get much better.

Saw Harry Hill AGAIN last night in a 100 seat room above a pub near Chalk Farm.

He was an utter joy and has cemented his position as my favourite live comic. I hope two gigs in a week suggests there's lots more to come - though who knows what that means for TV Burp...

'Lee Nelson' also did a little set. That character is really at his best in a small room with a lively audience who are happy to join in. So last night Simon was on top form. Though late. That man is ALWAYS late.

I think I'm going to have a night off comedy tonight. maybe a little nap.

In other news I'm getting a weekend ticket for the comedy crawl

Here are a couple of Sunday specials that will probably sell-out

Pappy's: All Business & The Beta Males in... "The Bunker" A double bill of fantastic full shows from some of the best sketch acts around (only £9.50 the pair)

The Complete Guide to Everything Live version of the popular US podcast £12.50/£14.50 with a few £9.50 tickets if you're quick

So if you like those things, you should probably come.

Comedy Crawl this weekend

Anyone else coming along?

Let me know if there's something unmissable on the line-up, otherwise I'll most likely just wander
