The Complete Guide to Everything Live version of the popular US podcast £12.50/£14.50 with a few £9.50 tickets if you're quick So if you like those things, you should probably come. These guys were so lovely and the show was great. I really recommend downloading the podcast if you fancy something funny. You can then kick yourselves that you missed the live show. They even made these beautiful hand screenprinted posters, which they gave away for nowt ![]() This Thursday at Kings Place is a Penny Dreadfuls & Tommy and the Weeks double bill. The dreadfuls won't be doing anything together for a while after this show, so I recommend that, if you like them. Next Week, the Fringe in Five (20 acts debuting 5 mins of their new Edinburgh shows), which has an amazing line-up so far: MATTHEW CROSBY RICH FULCHER THE THREE ENGLISHMEN TOTALLY TOM TOBY NICK HELM DR BROWN JOHN KEARNS OYSTER EYES NATHAN PENLINGTON CHRIS BOYD TONY LAW SHEEPS OK - bye! |

Yay!
The last Penny Dreadfuls gig EVER (except for 10 minutes they have booked in somewhere else or if they decide to do stuff again in the future) was brilliant. A best of the last five years of Edinburgh shows. They're fantastic. Looking forward to all their solo shows this year. Tommy and the Weeks also excellent. |

Tempted by Adam Buxton there! Providing my friend's wedding doesn't end up that day.
For those going to Reading festival, More comedy acts for the Alternative stage are added here. Mark Watson, Late Night Gimp Fight, Tom Deacon, and more (added to the already announced Russell Kane, Tim Minchin, Henry Rollins and Lee Nelson). |

Again, doesn't reeeeally count I suppose, but I went to see 'Penn and Teller: Fool Us' being recorded last night. Was pretty good, little underwhelmed by the contestants really, but Jonathan Ross was an entertaining host and P&T themselves were very funny. They did a great trick themselves at the end too.

He is so nice isn't he? Probably doesn't hurt that I'm constantly fawning over him.

He is so nice isn't he? Probably doesn't hurt that I'm constantly fawning over him. He totally deserves your fawn. Awesome guy altogether. Zoë gives Tony Law the fawn. He is, it broke my heart when we went to see him and the audience were less than receptive. It happens. He's different. Audiences sometimes just don't go with you. He deserves better. He's great. Hoping to be able to afford a ticket to see Dave Gorman's PowerPoint Presentation opening warm up gig at Norwich in September, in advance of the full October/November UK tour. Tickets go on sale in June, I believe.
