I saw the trailer on Entertainment Today this morning - GMTV, you funny guys. It was just after Blue's new song, which was the worst-mimed performance ever - they were giggling, missing their cues and had to cover their mouths all the time to avoid being shown up. And the song ripped-off the main melody of the classic Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio! Shccking...

But anyway, back to Revenge of the Sith, and being a Star Wars sceptic, I really didn't expect much...but MAN was it GOOD!

Finally, a trailer that properly ties in with the original films, with plenty of evil looks, great action and creepiness. Dark, Lucas, DARK! Perhaps these prequels weren't a wasted exercise after all...

Hmm. Looks good - as in it's visually impressive - but whether it will be good remains to be seen.

A couple of points, it looks as though we are going to see Yoda do another Sonic the Hedgehog impression (he looks seriously pissed too!) and is that a CGI version of R2-D2 at one point as well?

Good to hear they have James Earl Jones doing Vader's voice

I just watched the trailer last night and I have to admit it does look good, I hope that it turns out better than PM and AOTC. the cast list on IMDb has Jar jar on it, lets hope is a very brief appearance or some sort of death scene?

Saw the trailer yesterday, and I must say I was not as impressed as with the trailers for TPM (goosebumps!) and TAOTC. Dunno why, there just seems something missing. Don't get me wrong, there are some interesting, teasingly brief images in the new trailer: a lightsaber-wielding and altogether more twisted-looking Palpatine (?), a desperate looking Mace Windu ("I ain't goin' out like a sucka!"), an evil-eyed-Anakin, a sparklingly new-looking C3P0 in a white corridor not unlike that of his opening scene in A New Hope, a white-corduroy-faced geezer with a serious Harry Hill collar fetish who looks like a cast-off from Hellraiser... this film WANTS to be dark, damn it - I just hope Lucas delivers the goods is all. It would be brilliant if there turns out to be an almighty "jeez, I didn't see THAT coming" twist in it (eg: Anakin isn't Luke and Leia's father after all - but then the prequels are already riddled enough with plot holes, eh? ).

They say 3 is the magic number, and it would be great to think that Revenge Of The Sith will wipe the floor with the previous two films, even (dare I say it) the original trilogy, but somehow I think that the latter is extremely unlikely. But here's to hoping.

I wouldn't describe it as despearation to hate Jar Jar, he's just such a crap character that people don't want to see him have any more screen time - if he were to be killed off that would ensure no more return performances!

Im not desperate to hate him, I was just joking around. im definetly not a fan of the character but thats just my opinion, from what ive heard alot of people arent fans either.
