Re: Captain Eager film...
Apparently it had a premiere at last years London Sci-fi festival but has not been properly released. See link below. We need to pass the word and create get it released... http://www.sci-fi-london.com/2007web/movie...tain_eager.html Keep us informed if there is any more information... QUOTE (fatsheep @ Nov 17 2004, 07:59 PM) Has anyone heard of a film called Captain Eager?
I've heard bits about it but haven't had the chance to see it or find it anywhere?! I've been told it stars Mark Heap and is pure gold tongue in cheek Sci-Fi. If anyone knows anything or can point me in the right direction that would be superb as i can never get enough of Mark Heap |

Just watched the trailer:
www.captaineager.com Looks weird, but perhaps that's just the trailer not giving anything away. I'd be interested in seeing this. |

It looks very B-grade & amateurish, I'm sorry to say. And like it was made for TV. I don't know that I'd be bothered watching it, personally. Feel the love. dolfyn. |

I have to say I wasn't at all impressed by the trailer either. Between that and the one-star review in the current issue of Empire, that's about as much dissuasion as I need. I can't say I'll be sorry if I miss it.

QUOTE (Jon 79 @ Apr 14 2008, 09:26 PM) I know what you're saying & it's probably true, but there are good ways of doing B-grade & then there's just plain B-grade. This looks like the latter. But if enough people say it's worth seeing (once they've seen it), then I'll probably want see it too. Feel the love. dolfyn. |
