I think it's a bit of a cop out by the BBC to shorten it to 45 mins to accomodate other countries advert breaks....surely they should be more concerned with pacing..if it needs 1 hour give it an hour, don't let Fox/other commercial networks who cancel programs like this dictate the running length.....

Well it used to be 1/2 an hour so I think an extra 15 minutes is generous.

Damn, missed Project Who. Can't wait to see Simon do evil! ohmy.gif

Yeah, he was great. I was half expecting him to say 'Alright!' in the funny way he does to the 'suspicious man' in Spaced - hehe.

I thought he was really crap.

Hamming it up for some reason.

Of course it was only a ten sec clip, he could turn out alright.

Oooh I squeaked in a rather girly manner when he came on! Is it slightly deranged to actually quite like Simon being all nasty?!

He appears in episode 7, The Long Game. Simon's character heads some kind of Big Brother surveillance system that The Doctor and Rose get caught up in, hence his interrogation of them in the clip. Tasmin Greig from Black Books is in it too.

Well tat's typical. I was working at that exact moment! Got home to the dulcit tones of Julian Clary......

Isn't Jonathan Ross repeated (NOT in the Buddhist reincarnation sense)

WJD - Normally it is but cos the clocks go forward tonight it's not being shown again. It's the usual 'stick-a-film-on-while-we-lose-an-hour' thing.

Of all the bleedin' shows to not repeat! You'll just have to wait 7 weeks for the episode! Or you can be satisfied with Simon's voice on BBC3 straight after tonight's first episode, so we still get him tonight after all! wub.gif

It's repeated on BBC3 (check listings for times) but not on terrestrial. It's coming out on DVD in a couple of months, without extras, but will come out again towards christmas with loads of extra stuff.

The point of that? Who knows, but if it worked for LotR the BBC might as well have a go.

Just over 15 minutes to go. I still haven't decided whether or not to watch it ... I think I will ...

Simon can't play a nasty character! sad.gif It's illegal!
