QUOTE (Stella MM @ Dec 2 2004, 10:13 AM) It's Wednesdays at 7pm, snooker permitting. I thnk they've already shown two epidsodes. Make sure you don't miss Electro - the best show of the series. You know, I'm really glad I was naughty and downloaded the BBC3 episodes from EMule otherwise I'd probably never have got to see this. I Loooove Electro, Jazz, Electro AND the Robots In Disguise Laydees (http://www.thebooshisloose.co.uk/$oo2.jpg and http://www.thebooshisloose.co.uk/Dee2.jpg )YAY! I also take no end of hilarity in the fact that Noel goes up Julian's bum at one point |

SHould be released as a proper single. One of my boyfriend's friends has done a mix incorporating bits from that episode to great effect. If I can get him to rip it, I'll put a link up here. |

QUOTE (Jessopjessopjessop @ Dec 2 2004, 11:14 AM) Hi Chez! 7pm is a RUBBISH time - I missed Killeroo last night. I think i was still on an incredibly slow-moving train home. hello jessop! (apologies again for neglectiing the boosh board) i jjust caught it in time just before the theme tune started. i have to stick the volume up for that bit "pocket cup" QUOTE The BBC are tits - good point made concerning 15 Storeys High as well. did that second series ACTUALLY finish? it felt like it didn't! Last night was the first time I've seen 'The Mighty Boosh' I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be absolutely excellent!

"...And that's why I don't like cricket"
I'm quoting that episode far too much today - and no one else saw it, so they're scared of me!! |

I like The Mighty Boosh, and watch it, but I don't find it that funny. Out of the 3 episodes I've seen thus far, the first one was the best, and I love the animal costumes, and Naboo, but there's something missing which I can't quite put my finger on. It seems just a bit too weird in places without anything to back up the weirdness as if its weirdness for weirdness's sake. Still, I quite like the 7pm slot, as it makes it feel a bit like Rex the Runt.
And I'd second the Fifteen Storeys High sentiments. Don't have BBC3 so didn't get to see any of it and missed the repeats. My brother saw some of the second series, so we rented the first series on DVD and watched all the episodes in an afternoon. Its absolutely brilliant but repeatedly ignored by TV columnists (as demonstrated by me not having seen it until it came on DVD). |

Fortunately, a rather lovely mate of mine had taped the second series of '15 Storeys' when it was on BBC3 and let me have a copy, and another lovely mate has offered to sort me out with a copy of the Boosh - hooray for mates!

No, Julian wrote all the music as far as i'm aware (well, except Killer on the road, Cars and Don't you want me), they did play on it though of your friend does make an mp3 of it, can I put it on the site? there's lots of dowload action going on at the moment, someone's made me an MP3 of the HILARIOUS Breezeblock session they did last week. "John Lennon!" "Imagine" "I have an aincient Ball sack disease" etc... Lauren, in a nice christmassy office |

I don't get that sense at all. To me, it just feels like an endearingly surreal world that's been created for a bit of fun. It's not contrived or "look at me, I'm soooo crazy". QUOTE (Lauren @ Dec 2 2004, 03:20 PM) I hope you can, but I can't promise anything. |

QUOTE (Stella MM @ Dec 1 2004, 07:59 PM) And to make matters worse, 7pm on BBC 2 is the slot that always gets fucked around with at the drop of a hat to accomodate shit sporting events that only sad fat old men care about (like sn**ker, for example). I resent that! I like Snooker - and I'm not old . . . |
